3 Weeks...

Tue Apr 14, 2009, 6:38 AM
  • Mood: Amazed
  • Listening to: Red Dirt Road, Brooks and Dunn
  • Reading: My Sister's Keeper
  • Watching: My Roomie Play Guitar
  • Playing: Soon the Greys Anatomy game on my new Wii...
This morning, at the ungodly hour my job calls me to be awake, I realized that one, I only have to tear myself out of bed 5 in the morning a handful of more times, and two, I only have three weeks left of school! It is ridiculous to think that a whole year has come to pass since I was worried about my first year of college, and now I am almost regretful to leave for the summer. Time flies by.

I have been finding a bit more time to take photographs since spring has come, which has made me really remember how much I love the art. Tomorrow, I am taking some photos of a friend in order to practice my portrait skills, and I am really looking forward to it. With school work and regular work and stuff from home, taking an hour or so out of my day just to stop and do what I love seems freeing.

I'm thinking of trying to better my skills and maybe try some freelancing this summer. I don't know if people would actually want to buy what I shoot, but I wouldn't be in it for the money, just sharing it with more people would be enough. I made prints of the shots I chose to use in the contest (thank you to everyone who helped me out with choosing), and I am really happy with the results! I have never seen any of my shots other than on my camera's or my computer's screen, and to hold them in my hand made them real. It felt good, like I was a real photographer. =)

I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who visits my page, leaves a comment, or decides to fave my work. Your support is always appreciated!! Thank you! =)

Much Love,
BellaLuna
